The One Year Special Education Program (Blended) by ACT covers the major learning disabilities with a focus on ADHD, Autism and various learning disabilities through online learning. Candidates also get a detailed knowledge on Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Asperger’s Syndrome in the in-class portion of the course. The purpose of the course is to acquaint them with knowledge of children with disabilities and the kind of additional support they require which stimulates effective learning.
The In-class SEN Program by ACT is a 5-day program in Special Education which is aimed at special education teachers. The program is a much needed workshop for special education teachers, which puts emphasis on areas like supporting learners with different impairments and identifying learners with different challenges touching upon ADHD, Down’s syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Asperger’s Syndrome. After completing the program, candidates will also get an access to the online CACHE endorsed course.
It was an enriching experience and made me wiser. It was easy to follow the course with a formulated course structure. It has enhanced my level of confidence. I am working as a teacher in New York Public School, Salt Lake, Kolkata.

The overall teaching experience has been good. Something new for me as I had no teaching background. Will need to identify from the learnings the content which will be relevant for my requirements.
