Ms. Ramata Yasmin
With a strong desire to transition into the teaching field, Ms. Ramata Yasmin enrolled in the Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Teaching (PGET) from the Asian College of Teachers. Although her initial goal was to explore teaching opportunities abroad, Ramata found that the local eligibility requirements were not aligned with this particular certification.Despite this setback, she values the course for the practical insights it offered—especially in areas like classroom control and effective teaching methods. Already familiar with tutoring students prior to the course, Ramata appreciated how the program helped deepen her understanding of classroom management and enhanced her instructional skills.
While she is currently not employed and based in India, Ramata is keen on exploring remote teaching opportunities. She expressed a clear preference for online roles and hopes to re-enter the teaching profession soon.
She also highlighted the support she received from ACT’s team, describing it as adequate and informative. Though her path hasn’t yet taken the shape she envisioned, Ramata remains optimistic about applying her learning in meaningful ways in the near future.
