Course Overview

The Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator course is designed to prepare learners for a rewarding career in early childhood education, focusing on the holistic development of children aged 3-6 years. The program equips aspirants with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required to support children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth in preschools, daycare centres, and early learning environments.

Aligned with the Skill India Mission by the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC), the curriculum integrates early childhood education methodologies with child welfare, safety, and developmental best practices. Learners gain practical insights into planning meaningful learning experiences, assessing children’s progress, maintaining essential records, and collaborating effectively with parents and families to support each child’s learning journey.

Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator

The course focuses on professional workplace practices, including health and safety standards, ethical conduct, effective communication, and inclusivity. Along with core early childhood education modules, the program builds strong employability skills, covering communication, digital literacy, financial and legal awareness, entrepreneurship, customer service, and career readiness.

By the end of the course, learners will be skilled to function as confident, responsible, and competent Pre-School and Day Care Facilitators, ready to meet the demands of modern early learning settings and successfully transition into employment or apprenticeship opportunities in the early childhood education sector.

Course Duration

The Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator program has a total duration of 420 hours and is aligned to NSQF Level 4.

Mode of Learning

The course is offered in a blended mode of learning consisting of self-paced study and live online training.

420-Hour Program Dates & Details:

  • 82 Live Online classes (3 hours per class)
  • 174 hours of self-study
  • Date: 4th May to 9th November,2026
  • Live classes: Monday, Wednesday and Friday | 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

The Pre School and Day Care Facilitator program can be availed at a reasonable course fee of 28000 INR for an online mode of study (inclusive of all taxes). Candidates with basic computer skills and an internet connection can take up the training.

Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criterion for enrolling in the Pre School and Day Care Facilitator program is 10 + 2/NSQF Level 3.5 with 1.5 years of experience/NSQF Level 3 qualification with 3 years of experience. Aspiring candidates willing to gain an in-depth knowledge of Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator methods or to hone their skills are encouraged to take the course to excel in this field.

  • 12th grade pass with 6 months of relevant experience, or
  • NSQF Level 3.5 qualification with 1.5 years of relevant experience, or
  • NSQF Level 3 qualification with 3 years of relevant experience.

Certification

The students will receive a Certificate for Skill Competency issued by Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) with Asian College of Teachers (ACT) mentioned on the certificate as Training Partner.

Interested candidates willing to enrol have to fill up an online application form with all the relevant details and must provide a correct email ID and phone number, as all the communication will be forwarded there. Once the application form is submitted, the candidates will receive the course details via email and phone call from ACT’s admission executives. The course fee payment details will be mailed to the candidates once they confirm their enrolment. The course fee can be paid through online payment using UPI online money transfer, Debit/Credit Card or by depositing Cash, Cheque or Demand Draft to our bank account. After the payment is credited, the candidates will receive payment confirmation with the online admission form. They need to fill up the same form and submit it in order to get online access to the course.
