In the following lines, we will have a look at the various nuances of progress monitoring and how they help in the development of a learner indulging in a particular course.

1. Determination of development

The development of the learners should be the first priority for every course. This determination of development not only helps in understanding the ways to handle a particular student according to the proper assessment of his/her strengths or weaknesses, but also helps in finding new ways to understand the learners and work together towards holistic development.

2. Develop new avenues

The development of new avenues to assess the learners and their holistic progress while indulging in a particular course, such as the montessori teacher training courses, is another important feature of progress monitoring. This is where the need to identify the learners with inadequate progress comes into the fray. This not only helps the educators to find new and better ways to assess and teach the learners but also serves the purpose of developing the learners into future educators in their preferred way.

4. Compare the efficacy of the various set of instructions

It is not always that the set of instructions present in a progress monitoring procedure is full-proof and might fail to deliver the goods to the learners pursuing a particular course curriculum. The educators need to compare and understand the efficacy of the various set of instructions directed towards the development of the learners and their holistic development.

5. Design more effective interventions

It is not always that every technique of intervention is effective and can have the right kind of impact on the mind of the learners indulging in a particular course. However, the educators dealing with these techniques can design more effective interventions in order to help the learners and impact their progress in a positive manner. This step is essential in the progress of the learners as they look to develop themselves into future educators.
