Workshop for Teachers

The recently held Continuous Professional Development Program at Blossom Nursery School in Salboni, West Bengal in the RBI township on "Teaching Learning" for Pre & Primary teachers was a great success. With enthusiastic participation from the Principal and staff members the training session addressed several pressing needs of the school. The training was interactive, hands-on and skill development oriented. Some areas covered included developing the 4-skills of language learning using various strategies including music, story telling, etc. Numeracy and self awareness in relation to environment was also among the focus areas. Aspects of classroom management as well as managing special needs learners were high points of learning for the teachers. Fostering creativity and developing thinking skills in learners were other major focal points of the training.

The meeting of the ATI Training Company CEO, Dr. Sanjib Chakraborty and the CEO of the College of Birmingham, Dr. Dharmanand Mortha has successfully led to the establishment of a long-lasting corporate partnership. As a result, all ATI programs are being validated by the College of Birmingham and accredited internationally.
